Asking You To Help Me

Open eyed see the world, through clearer skies
The weight of my smile isn't holding me down
For everyone that lives, somebody dies
And in the dark no-one hears you cry

So you think, you can unlock the child within
Release the demons from their lair and help me to sing
Rest my head on tiles from which I once bled
Dark thoughts are filling me with dread

I’m on my hands and knees asking you to help me
These tears I cry are filled with fear
Alone here in the dark I'm asking you to help me
I can’t fight this on my own I'm asking you to help me.

I need time with the words that you have said
Take me down to the place others don’t know
Erase the past and let, yes let it all go
Find space to think and help me grow

I’m on my hands and knees asking you to help me
These tears I cry are filled with fear
Alone here in the dark I'm asking you to help me
I can’t fight this on my own I'm asking you to help me.

I’m on my hands and knees asking you to help me
These tears I cry are filled with fear
Alone here in the dark I'm asking you to help me
I can’t fight this on my own I'm asking you to help me.
I'm asking you to help me.
I'm asking you to help me.
